Welcome to Lake Placid State Park
Camping in Montana State Parks is a great way to get outdoors and enjoy time with family and friends. Twenty of Montana's 54 state parks have more than 500 campsites to reserve. Campsites are reservable from the third Friday in May through the third Sunday in September. Reservations can be made nine months in advance of your stay, but no later than two days prior to your arrival.For the spontaneous camper, 25 percent of the campsites are designated "walk-up" sites, available on a first-come, first-served basis for visitors arriving without reservations. For a unique camping experience try one of Montana State Parks' cabins, yurts, or tipis.
