Welcome to Clarksburg State Park
Clarksburg State Park offers 368 acres of abundant and unspoiled northern hardwood forest with breathtaking views of the Hoosac Range, Mount Greylock and the Green Mountains. The campground features wooded campsites. Mauserts Pond has a landscaped day-use area featuring picnicking, and a pavilion area. The pond is surrounded by 9.5 miles of foot trails along which visitors may observe a variety of wildlife, and perhaps a moose. The 3 mile Pond Loop Trail is popular with birdwatchers, and the very easy Shoreline Trail has beautiful water views. 45 well-spaced and wooded campsites are located near the lake, featuring a modern comfort station with showers. Swimming is limited/restricted to our designated swimming area.
