Enjoy our swimming pool from May - September.   Retreat to a nature-lover's paradise in a rustic setting with panoramic vistas, rolling terrain, and secluded campsites. You're just a quarter mile from Santa Margarita Lake, where you can enjoy fishing, hiking and horse trails. Santa Margarita Lake is known as a "Quiet Lake." It offers excellent fishing for large mouth bass, small mouth bass, catfish, crappies, and blue gills. The lake is a no-body-contact lake, but boating is welcome. Make advance reservations with Shangri La Ranch for a horseback riding excursion around the lake. Shangri La will pick you up from your campsite!  We are located within an hour's drive from Hearst Castle, Cambria, Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, local wineries, Pozo National Forest, and many other great local attractions! Monterey and Santa Barbara are also great day trips when visiting California's Central Coast.  After a day enjoying the outdoors, relax around your campfire and the crickets and frogs will serenade you... along with beautiful birds singing in chorus.  Our campground is an outdoor lover's dream, whether you enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, bird watching, horseback riding, cycling, horse shoes, swimming, and many other outdoor activities, you're sure to find an activity in our area you will enjoy!
