Eddie, the local bald eagle, often soars overhead here, and that's just one of the unexpected delights at this new KOA tucked in the Piney Woods of East Texas. The campground wraps along the shore of Lake Livingston, boasting the area's most spectacular sunsets. It's an ideal resort for boating, swimming, fishing for bass and catfish, and relaxing by the lake-perhaps at one of the premium lakefront RV sites. Situated on site, Bubba's Bar & Grill serves succulent steaks and fresh Gulf seafood.

Apparently changed to new management with KOA, very nice facilities, people were friendly and helpful. Rates were very reasonable. Concrete parking pads on pull-throughs and back-ins. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
