Maddox Family Campground welcomes you to Chincoteague Island, Virginia’s only Resort Island located on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. We offer the best in recreational camping, while being the closest to Assateague Beach. Maddox Family Campground has more than 550 sites spread out over 200 acres of wooded area where you will discover a new world in outdoor recreation. We offer peaceful, quiet camping with a beautiful view of the Assateague Lighthouse. Our campground is designed to accommodate all ages – singles, couples and families.
Maddox Family Campground is conveniently located within biking distance to the beach or to fine seafood restaurants and shopping in the quaint village of Chincoteague loaded with arts & craft stores, antique shops, and much more.
