Welcome to Smith Memorial Park
Only nine miles north of Watkins Glen, Smith Park has been developed in a pleasant and natural setting along the eastern shoreline of Seneca Lake. This is a community waterfront park with camping and picnicking facilities, a boat launch, swimming beach, pavilions, and showers. ​Over 2300 feet of lake frontage provides an expansive lakeside beach!​
LAST DAY OF SWIMMING IS SEPTEMBER 4, 2017.

Camping is available on a daily, weekly, multi-week, or seasonal basis for various sites that are available with or without electric. All sites have access to shower & toilet facilities onsite, a picnic table, and a fire ring. Please contact us via e-mail at smithpark@htva.net, or call us at 607-546-4467 to make a reservation! Reservations accepted on April 1, 2017. Please leave a message for reservations as they will be checked daily and reserved in order of receipt. Thank you!
Picnic on the beach, in the pavilion, or designated areas.
Swimming is also available from late June through Labor Day (closed Monday, September 5) in our designated swimming area. We have 250 feet of sand on our swim beach!! Swimming is allowed only in the designated area, and only when lifeguards are present.
Launch your boat for a $5.00 fee or $35.00 for a season launch pass. (No charge for registered campers).
Hike along our expanded nature trails.
Firewood is available to all visitors for a nominal fee. New York State regulates wood only from Schuyler, Tompkins, and Chemung Counties to be brought into the park - all wood provided by our campground is from the campground.
Visit the many nearby attractions and tour the local wineries, breweries and distillery or walk the Watkins Glen gorge. Come and enjoy one of America's most scenic areas!
Rent a Pavilion at Smith Memorial Park at either the Upper or Lower Pavilion. Inquiries welcome!
