Welcome to Optimist Park
Donated to the City in the year 2000 by the Vine Grove Optimist Club, the Optimist Park comprises approximately 40 acres. The park features an amphitheater, a playground, soccer fields, a baseball/softball field, and a concession stand. A beautiful walking trail, which follows a portion of Otter Creek, is also available. Visit the park on the third weekend in September for the annual Autumn Daze Festival featuring a car show, live entertainment, various vendors, food and much more. On the fourth weekend in September, the park also hosts the annual Bluegrass Festival featuring musicians and dancers from throughout Kentucky and surrounding states.
