This city operated park has a great location just one block off US-1 and the entrance to the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park at Flamingo. Nice friendly folks. The sites are all grassy and level. Overall, the park is pretty decent. The monthly rate of $425 and weekly rate of $170 include electric - max stay is 6 months for "new comers". Super Wal-Mart & Home Depot are just a block away as are other shopping and dining. The crime rate outside the gate is twice the national average but no problems have been reported in the park other than the theft of unsecured bicycles. There is no pool, but there is a playground and pavilion. Propane is available in the park as well as Laundromat facilities.
