Welcome to Camp Shelly
Looking for an easy getaway to the beautiful Sierra Nevada high country? Come join us at Camp Shelly, the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District's family campground at South Lake Tahoe. Camp Shelly is nestled in the woods just above Highway 89, between the town of South Lake Tahoe and the scenic wonders of Emerald Bay. The campground is centrally located so that visitors can take advantage of both the natural wonders of the area and the amenities of a major tourist destination.

• Community faucets with potable water throughout the campground.
• Recreation - a pingpong table, a volleyball court and a horseshoe pit.
Campsite amenities/facilities: Each site has a parking slot, a table, a level space for a tent, a food storage locker, and a metal fire pit and grill. In addition to tents, most sites can accommodate tent trailers and campers, while a few sites can accommodate trailers and motorhomes up to 24 feet in length. However, there are no water, sewer or electrical hookups available at Camp Shelly. The food storage locker dimensions are 48" wide x 34.5" deep x 20.5" tall.
