Welcome to Arthur W Way County Park
Located on land donated by former lawyer, entrepreneur and state senator, Arthur W. Way, the park sits on the Mattole River and offers camping, a playground and plenty of room for a picnic with both open and shaded areas.  There are also some fantastic swimming spots. The park is 31 miles west of Highway 101 from the South Fork / Honeydew exit and is a long but pretty drive. You can also reach it from Ferndale by taking Mattole Road. The Ferndale route is about 35 miles and is also a nice drive.
