Lake Mackenzie Park - Silverton, TX - County / City Parks

Lake Mackenzie is located in Briscoe County, Texas 12 miles northwest of Silverton and 27 miles east of Tulia. Operated by Mackenzie Municipal Water Authority, the lake was created to furnish water to member cities of Floydada, Lockney, Silverton, and Tulia.  It also provides many recreation activities for the communities in the surrounding area. ​Located on the South side of Mackenzie Lake, all visitors to the Lake should visit Mackenzie Bait and Tackle to obtain all lake permits for the activities you plan to participate in. Camping options include 36 camp sites and 25 RV camp sites that are available on a per night basis.  We have a dedicated staff that hopes you share in our sentiment that..."Life just seems better at the lake!​"
