This was the perfect getaway for two nights. If you are looking for beach camping, this is the closest you will come in CT, as it is just a short walk from your site to a perfectly groomed beach. The camp store was very accommodating, however we had to rent our own fire pit for $14 per night. Its proximity to local restaurants and amenities made for an easy experience. There are some sites that are more private than others. Restrooms were typical state park bathrooms, that could have been cleaner, but had everything you need.
