Out of the last 25 parks we've stayed at in the last year, this park had the best/cleanest bathrooms. The park had a "lecture series" and a pool, but nothing much was going on in late April and early May. The park was close to the South Congress shopping district which was fun and had lots of good eats! There was easy access (as long as you didn't hit rush-hour) to the south-side of Lady Bird Lake as well as downtown Austin and the university area. The park is currently in transition from a Carefree RV Resort to a Sun RV Resort and it looks like several changes are planned for the front half of the park; unfortunately, several of the nice old shade trees are scheduled for removal and I'm not sure what's planned to replace them. The small pool was often packed with kids, but it was heated and open from 10am to 9pm. It's on the northbound frontage road of I-35 and I expected the freeway noise to be loud since I could see the traffic on the frontage road and both directions of the freeway from our site (we were near the front), but was surprised that it wasn't too loud day or night. We'd stay here again if we were visiting Austin and would recommend it.
