Welcome to Sandy Hollow Recreation Area and Campground
Under the management of the Sioux County Conservation Board as of May 1, 2014. Park hours are 7:00 am - 10:30 pm. A park pass will be required for each vehicle at $5.00 a day or $20.00 for an annual pass. Additional passes are $10.00 each and must be purchased the same day. Passes will be good at both Sandy Hollow and the Big Sioux Recreation Area near Hawarden.

The Sandy Hollow Campground is open for camping May 1 or earlier, weather permitting. There are 37 camping spots with electrical hookups, two full hookup spots and 12 spots with water and electric. There are four water hydrants placed around the campground and a sewer dump station. A comfort station is available with sinks, stools and showers.
