Welcome to Twin Falls Resort State Park
Set in the rugged mountains of Southern West Virginia, Twin Falls Resort State Park is the ideal site for nature seekers. Visitors to Twin Falls can enjoy overnight accommodations ranging from a 47-room lodge located on the mountain top to secluded cottages or spacious camping sites at the campground. For golfers looking for a challenge, Twin Falls provides a sprawling 18-hole, Par 71 championship golf course. Other leisure activities at Twin Falls include twelve scenic hiking and biking trails, picnicking, swimming in an outdoor pool, full-service restaurant, or just relaxing with a piece of history at the Pioneer Farm. Twin Falls' down home hospitality will delight any visitor. Whether it's a family vacation, a reunion or a wedding, Twin Falls is the perfect location. Centrally located in the eastern United States, this park is easily accessible to visitors.

VISIT THE PIONEER FARM
Pioneer FarmThe Pioneer Farm pictured below is a restored home place on Bowers Ridge. The living history farm appears much like those of the 1830's providing a glimpse into the lives and times of the people who settled the Twin Falls area
HIKING TRAILS
Twelve hiking trails vary from remote wooded paths to scenic walks to the two falls for which the park is named.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
GOLF COURSE
Twin Falls features an 18-hole par 71 championship course. The original 9-holes were designed by Geoffrey Cornish in the late 1960’s and nine-hole addition designed by George Cobb, Sr. completed a challenging 18-hole golf property. A pro shop with club and cart rentals, sales and assistance is on site. A resident PGA Golf Pro is available for lessons. The 18-hole course is open year round, weather permitting. This course is tucked in a mountainous area of West Virginia and many golfers overlook this golf gem. Twin Falls provides some of the best golf play you’ll find anywhere at a more relaxed pace of play.
NATURE CENTER & PROGRAMMING
A year-round nature and outdoor recreation program is offered at Twin Falls. During the summer, nature and recreational activities ranging from campfires with stories and songs to night hikes is scheduled. The Nature Center, located in Twin Falls Lodge, has local nature and historical displays.
NATURE CENTER
In the Breezeway of the Monarch Wing and underneath the restaurant is the Nature Center. You can learn about wildlife in the Twin Falls area and some of the rich cultural history Wyoming county.
PICNICKING
Picnic ShelterThree picnic areas offer visitors an outdoor dinner table. Groups and reunions enjoy the ability to reserve any of Twin Falls' three picnic shelters. Playground equipment and restroom facilities are on site or nearby.
OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATER
Nestled in a natural bowl near Twin Falls ball field is a beautiful setting for outdoor programs or group gatherings.
SWIMMING POOL
An indoor guest pool is located at the park lodge.
CAMPING
Twin Falls' campground includes 50 campsites, 25 with electrical hookups. Twenty five of the campsites are available for advanced reservations. The seasonal Contact Center houses a Laundromat, small store with convenience items and camper registration area. There are two bathhouses, one heated for winter use, and a dump station. All campsites are paved, with grills and picnic tables. Campers have a choice between wooded or open area sites: Fox Hunters Point and Dogwood Flats. Dogs and cats are permitted. Leash guidelines apply.
LODGE
Twin Falls Lodge is located on a high wooded ridge with a picturesque view of the golf course. Each of the 47 guest rooms has a balcony, air conditioning, cable TV and telephone. Open since 1970 the year-round lodge also includes a restaurant, banquet and conference facilities, a gift shop featuring West Virginia items, and a nature center.
COTTAGES
Twin Falls offers 14 vacation cottages. Ten cottages have two bedrooms and are suitable for four people, two have three bedrooms and are suitable for six people and two have four bedrooms and are suitable for eight guests. The cottages are secluded on a heavily forested hilltop. Of modern design, the cottages feature stone fireplaces and electric heat for year-round comfort. Televisions are provided but channel selection is limited. Bathrooms are modern with shower facilities. The cottages are completely furnished for housekeeping with basic appliances, cooking utensils, dishes, linens, towels and blankets. Popular for summer vacations and winter retreats, the cottages are convenient for reunions or weekend getaways in spring and fall. Dogs and cats are permitted in designated cottages, call for reservations with pets.
