Sandy Hill Family Camp - Quantico, MD - RV Parks

Our family campground is located on the beautiful Nanticoke River where you may enjoy fishing, crabbing, swimming, hiking or a lazy day to kick back and relax. We offer separate fishing and swimming beaches as well as two boat ramps and a pier. From the river to our "kid approved" playground and large recreation hall with game room, our facilities are sure to keep everyone in your family happily occupied. We have a wonderful mix of shaded and sunny sites with 30 amp service, and water, picnic tables and campfire rings, some pull-thrus and seasonal sites are available.

 

Located two hours from Baltimore and two hours from Washington, D.C., Sandy Hill Family Camp makes the perfect spot for your exploring excursions. Some of our local attractions are must sees and only short distances from the park. We have Minor League Baseball with the Delmarva Shorebirds at the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury (20 miles). At Dover Downs you will find slot machines, NASCAR racing and simulcast horse racing in Dover, DE (70 miles). Midway Slots in Harrington, DE (56 miles) also offers slots and simulcast horse racing.

 

Entrance & BeachFor the nature lovers, our State Parks are not to be missed - Pocomoke River State Forest & Park at Snow Hill (39 miles), Janes Island State Park at Crisfield (47 miles) and the Assateague State Park and Beach - home of the famous Assateague Ponies (40 miles). Then the Salisbury Zoo and the Ward Wildfowl Art Museum are only 18 miles away. Don't forget Ocean City, MD with the beaches and boardwalks (46 miles) and the Salisbury University, home of the Seagull Century in Salisbury (16 miles).
