Welcome to Moro Bay State Park
You'll find one of the most popular fishing and water sport areas in south central Arkansas where Moro Bay and Raymond Lake join the Ouachita River at Moro Bay State Park. Park facilities include 20 campsites (five Class A and 15 Class B), picnic sites, a store, marina with boat rentals and gas pump, standard pavilion (screened), playground, trails, and the Moro Bay Ferry exhibit featuring a historic tugboat and barge. Five rental cabins opened in the park in late-2009. Each cabin is fully-equipped and features a great room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. These 1,100-square-foot cabins include both a screened porch and an outside living area with a picnic grill and table that face the waters of Moro Bay. One cabin is a barrier-free design to meet the needs of visitors with disabilities. Make reservations online or call toll-free at:  877-879-2741. The park is 29 miles southwest of Warren on U.S. 63; or 23 miles northeast of El Dorado on U.S. 63.

Amenities

Within Facility
Group Pavilion
A large, covered pavilion located in the picnic area on the Moro Bay side of the park may be rented for group outings or family reunions. Also available for rent is a large air-conditioned meeting room and kitchen adjacent to the visitor center. These may be reserved for a modest fee by calling or writing the park. Reservations must be made at the Visitor Center.

Picnicking
Two large picnic areas provide plenty of space for fun with friends and family. The picnic sites are equipped with tables and grills. Water hydrants, rest rooms, and a playground are located nearby.

Cabins
Five housekeeping cabins overlooking Moro Bay are available year round. These fully furnished cabins provide all the luxuries of modern life in a scenic location. Each cabin has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a great room/kitchen, and a screened back porch with river view. Behind each cabin, guests have a picnic table, a grill, and fire ring for their personal use.

Camping
In a tent or trailer, the park’s 20 campsites along Raymond Lake provide excellent camping. All 20 campsites have water and electricity. A dump station
is near the bathhouse (small fee charged to those not camped in the park).

Nature Trails
The 1/4-mile Deer Run Hiking Trail, near the campground, offers a beautiful view of the forest surrounding Moro Bay. The Low-Water Trail, also 1/4-mile long, offers an excellent hiking opportunity in a riverside environment.

Other Facilities
The visitor center features a park store with grocery staples, bait and tackle, hunting and fishing licenses, camping supplies, souvenirs, and boat and motor rentals. Ours is the only marina on the Ouachita River in Arkansas with gas and boat slips for rent. Complete shopping, restaurant, medical facilities, and other services are just 30 minutes away in El Dorado or Warren.
