We were heading back home in Ohio from our trip in Florida and we stopped Midway for two days.

When we pulled into the camp ground it was pouring rain but the owner and his helper assisted us getting settled in our site. We had reserved our site in front of a small lake even though we couldn't make out the shape in the dark. The transition from check-in to our camper settling took less than 1/2 hour.

The next day we found we were surrounded by trees and lots of campers. But we had a great view of the lake - as usual, I scouted out the camp ground while my family was sleeping still and came back to the camper enjoying my morning coffee in a quiet outdoor environment.

We played the miniature golf and had a blast - we tried to see if the pool was open, the owner told us that it had already past the summer so the pool was closed. To say the least, we were disappointed. BUT, they had this giant Jumping Pillow!! We all climbed aboard to this big pillow and started bouncing, jumping, and at some point fell and trying to get back up was quite a chore!! I don't remember we had such simple pleasure of jumping on a giant inflated pillow - we felt like a little kid again!! It was not easy to keep up with two of our three children who were also rather competitive!! We couldn't stop laughing and cursing.....well, I know the cursing wasn't coming from the kids.

We left the camp ground two days later with a newly recharged energy and refreshing mind. We loved eating together in a tight place where we didn't have to shout to hear the conversation in our camper and we enjoyed the family atmosphere surrounding the camp ground.
