Accessible by road, water or air, Seboomook Wilderness Campground is a natural paradise for all to enjoy.Wake up early to a beautiful sunrise over the Katahdin Mountain Range, fill your lungs with the cleanest air in the world and enjoy the wildlife.After your days activities, relax by a campfire and enjoy the evening solitude with the loons calling in the distance. We have Adirondack shelters and tent sites with water and electric hook-ups on the shore of Moosehead Lake with a beautiful beachfront.The beach is ideal for children as it is very shallow and sandy. Adjacent to the waterfront sites is a large lawn area available for games such as badminton, volleyball and horseshoes. The playground is centrally located so that you can keep an eye on your children from your campsite while they enjoy playing on the pirate ship, swings, merry-go-round, jungle gym, and teeter totters. Seboomook Wilderness Campground has something to offer for people of all ages.For your convenience we have a modern heated bathhouse with flush toilets, privacy stalls, and electricity that is centrally located in the campground with free hot showers for our guests.The next time you are driving the Moosehead Loop, stop in and check out our well stocked store providing groceries, beer, ice, assorted snacks and candies, ice creams, gasoline, diesel, oil, automotive supplies and hardware. Browse over our wide selection of Seboomook T-shirts, hats and souvenirs, or sample "The best hot coffee in town". Our store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from May 1st to December 8th.
